1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup granulated sugar
½ cup melted butter
2 large eggs
½ cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
For the Crumble Topping
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ cup cold butter (cubed)
How to Make Apple Crumble Cake
Step 1 – Prepare the Apples
In a bowl, mix apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, cornstarch, melted butter, and vanilla. Set aside.
Step 2 – Prepare the Cake Batter
In another bowl:
Beat eggs with sugar.
Add melted butter, milk, and vanilla.
Add flour, baking powder, and salt.
Mix until smooth.
Step 3 – Make the Crumble
Mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
Rub in cold butter with your fingers until crumbly.
Step 4 – Assemble
- Pour cake batter into greased baking pan.
- Spread apple mixture evenly on top.
- Sprinkle crumble topping generously.
Step 5 – Bake
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 40–45 minutes until golden brown.
