Butter Flatbread Recipe

Ingredients:

3 cups of all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of sugar

1 tablespoon of dry yeast (optional for softness)

1 cup of warm water (adjust as needed)

3 tablespoons of melted butter (or vegetable oil)

Extra butter for brushing


Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast (if using).
  2. Gradually add warm water and knead until you get a soft, smooth dough.
  3. Cover the dough with a clean cloth and let it rest for about 30–45 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each one into a thin circle.
  5. Brush the surface with melted butter, then fold or roll it gently (optional for layering).
  6. Cook each flatbread on a hot skillet or pan over medium heat until golden spots appear on both sides.
  7. Brush with butter immediately after removing from the pan for extra flavor and shine.
