Cinnamon Roll Apple Bake Recipe

This Cinnamon Roll Apple Bake is a warm, gooey dessert made with soft cinnamon rolls baked in a rich apple cinnamon sauce and topped with sweet vanilla glaze. It’s the perfect comfort dessert for fall, holidays, or a cozy family breakfast.

For the Apple Cinnamon Base:

3 large apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled and sliced

½ cup brown sugar

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

¼ teaspoon nutmeg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

½ cup heavy cream (or milk)

For the Cinnamon Rolls:

2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (cut each roll into quarters)

For the Glaze:

Icing packets from the cinnamon rolls

2 tablespoons milk or cream (optional, to thin the glaze)

  1. Preheat the Oven
    Preheat your oven to 180°C / 350°F. Grease a baking dish with butter.

    In a large bowl, mix sliced apples, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and melted butter until well coated.
  3. Assemble the Bake
    Spread the apple mixture evenly in the baking dish.

    Warm the icing slightly and drizzle it over the hot bake. Add a little milk if you want a thinner glaze.
  7. Serve
    Let it cool for 5 minutes, then serve warm.
