250g fresh spinach (washed and chopped)

200g cream cheese (Philadelphia or similar)

100g feta cheese (crumbled)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 large eggs

2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 small onion (finely chopped)

2 tablespoons olive oil

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

For the Pie:

2 sheets puff pastry (thawed)

1 egg (beaten, for brushing)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds or black seeds (optional)


👩‍🍳 How to Make Spinach & Cheesecake Puff Pastry Pie

Step 1 – Prepare the Spinach

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until soft. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Step 2 – Make the Cheesecake Filling

In a bowl, mix cream cheese, feta, mozzarella, and eggs. Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Then add the cooled spinach mixture and mix well until creamy.

Step 3 – Assemble the Pie

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Line a baking dish with one sheet of puff pastry. Pour the spinach cheesecake filling evenly. Cover with the second pastry sheet and seal the edges.

Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.

Step 4 – Bake

Bake for 35–40 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Step 5 – Serve

Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or cold.
