Honey Garlic Baked Chicken with Rosemary.
Ingredients:
2 large chicken breasts (or 4 small)
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional but recommended)
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
Fresh rosemary leaves (or dried rosemary)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F). - Season the Chicken:
Sprinkle the chicken with salt and black pepper on both sides. - Make the Sauce:
In a small pan over medium heat:
Melt the butter.
Add the olive oil and minced garlic.
Stir for 1 minute, then add honey and lemon juice (and Dijon mustard if using).
Mix until the sauce becomes smooth.
- Assemble:
Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish.
Pour the honey garlic sauce over them.
Sprinkle fresh rosemary on top. - Bake:
Bake for 25–35 minutes, depending on the size of the chicken pieces, until they are golden and fully cooked. - Optional:
For a more caramelized top, turn broil mode on for the last 3 minutes.
